06/27/2006: "I love it when a plan comes together!"
It's been a pretty good few days. Not so much because I have done much but because a lot of plans for the next few months have all fallen into place.
It started off last Tuesday, when I managed to get hold of Reading tickets for me and Sarah from the new release of tickets. Martin (her brother) had already got a ticket the weekend before, having registered with Mean Fiddler ages ago. So it looks like we are in for a repeat of last year's entertainment. With this confirmed, we both booked off the two weeks beforehand and started doing a bit of planning.
We wanted to spend a week or so camping with the bikes, and decided to head for the South-West. Sarah mentioned it might be nice to visit the Eden Project while we were down there, so I looked up their website (mainly to find out where in Cornwall it actually is). Turned out that Muse are playing there on the Tuesday before Reading, and that tickets were going on sale about 45 minutes later. We'll have some of those then. So at the minute the plan is to work our way down South with as little motorway as possible, picking up the A39 at Bath and (loosely) following it down through Glastonbury and along the North coast of Devon and Cornwall until it ends in Falmouth (via a couple of nights with Sarah's parents in Ilfracombe). We'll then cut across to St Austell for a few nights, ending with the Muse gig, and then have an almighty blast back up the motorways on the Wednesday before heading off to Reading on the Thursday. Should be good!
Next week we've got Martin coming to visit and there's a week of fun in store, beginning with the MotoGP at Donington on Sunday.

No mention of the fact that we got ENGAGED?? I don't think you're as excited as me, but then I think we both knew that anyway!
