Off on Holiday...
I've got a job! Went for an interview on Thursday morning, got an offer in the afternoon and signed the contract yesterday. I start on the 5th of September, same as Sarah.
In a matter of hours we will be departing for our trip round europe. Will try to update this as we go along.

Sunday, July 17th
I'm still alive...
Mood: Hectic.
Despite the silence on here for the last month I am still alive. A quick round up of news...
- Sarah and I both got 2:1's.
- We are currently living at my parent's house in Birmingham, but we are shortly going to be renting a house in Kegworth, Leicestershire. Subject to the contract actually turning up for us to sign we ought to have the keys by next weekend.
- Sarah will now definitely be starting at Toyota in September. I still haven't got a job but I have a few applications out, including for a job as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Triumph.
- A week next Tuesday, we leave here for four weeks travelling around Europe in the van before coming back for Reading.
Between all that lot and trying to move out of the house in Bath we have been running around like crazy, and it's not going to get any better in the next week, as we have to pack for the holiday, get the keys for the house and buy at least the essentials (Bed, Fridge/Freezer, etc) to live in it when we come back. Oh and we are spending a couple more days in Bath so we can get dressed up in silly hats and graduate officially.
Crazy.
